Experiential learning is one of the pillars of a Macaulay education. Having access to hands-on experience, which emphasizes the importance of learning by doing, is what makes the Macaulay honors program unique.
In addition to receiving a tuition scholarship that covers institutional CUNY classroom costs, Macaulay students can apply for a general Opportunities Fund grant of $1,500 or an Enhanced Opportunities Fund grant of $2,500-$5,000 to support study away or abroad, internship service or research work.
This funding comes to us from the generous contributions of the Macaulay community (alumni, parents, and staff) and external philanthropists and organizations committed to enhancing the Macaulay experience for all of our students.

Being required to speak in Mandarin for the entirety of the program was a major highlight and challenged my language abilities in a multitude of ways.
