Peter Simonetti '21 (Hunter)

Peter Simonetti ’21 is a Political Science and History double major. Peter has represented his class as a representative to the Macaulay Scholars Council for the past four years. In the Fall of 2017, Peter volunteered as a teacher and tutor for the Let’s Get Ready Initiative to provide high school students from historically under-served communities and first-generation-to-college students with free SAT preparation and admission counseling. In the Spring of 2018, Peter interned for the Honorable Judge Ruth Pickholz in Criminal Court in New York City and and then for the Clinton Foundation in the Spring of 2019 as a Communications Intern. From the Summer of 2019 to the Winter of 2020, Peter worked as a legal intern for the New York City Law Department’s Manhattan Tort Division where he observed depositions and worked with a number of attorneys on specific cases in preparing motions and other documents to aid cases. He will be taking his experiences with him to New York Law School this Fall where he will attend law school for the next three years in hopes to one day become an attorney.
