This seminar is an interdisciplinary exploration of the arts and cultural events of New York. Our subject encompasses a range of performances, texts, and exhibits. Our curriculum is based not only on reading but also on your interactive experiences with works of art. By reflecting on these experiences in discussions, in creative activities, and in analytical writing, you will gain an understanding of the craft of the artists, their engagement with social issues, and the dynamic relationship between a work of art and its audiences.

I guess it’s for general comments (or questions)?
Anyone have news about our cultural passport IDs? We have a trip to the museum in a few days and I’d like to get mine in case we need to pay to get in lol XD
Yesterday, I went to the Graduate center and Sarah Stewardt said that we’ll probably be getting the Cultural Passports in early October. The trips like the Whitney museum is already organized by the Cuny Honors program so we don’t have to worry about fees. Hope that answers your question, Christina!

I found a few links about Joseph Cornell and even his 1936 film “Rose Hobart”. Might as well get familiar with him now before we see Hotel Cassiopeia.
