Elizabeth Vilchis was born on March 3, 1988 in a small town in Puebla, Mexico called Coatepec. She lived in this small developing town until she was seven when her family immigrated to America. In America her family arrived and settled in New York. Today, Elizabeth still lives in the same neighborhood she moved into twelve years ago.

As a high school student Elizabeth attended Saunders Trades and Technical High School in Yonkers, New York just outside New York City. At Saunders she was in the architecture program were she learned how to draft and read architectural plans as well as build models. In this program she also discovered she also discovered civil engineering and construction management. During high school Elizabeth was involved in numerous clubs including Skills USA, Key Club, the National Honors Society, the high school newspaper, the yearbook and S.A.D.D. She even had the opportunity to serve as officer for two of the clubs and was editor of the yearbook during her senior year. Elizabeth is now nineteen and currently attending college. She is part of the CUNY Honors College at the City College of New York. At City she is pursuing a career as a civil engineer from City College's established engineering program. She hopes to specialize in the environment branch of civil engineering. A good education is not all Elizabeth's about however, she is a very open minded person who is interested in taking part in new experiences. She’s willing to learn from new experiences and hopes use what she learned to become a better individual.

Just like in high school Elizabeth has begun to be active in her college organizations hoping to gain leadership experience and improve her communication skills. More importantly she also has a strong interest in community service. Throughout high school and now college she has volunteered in many volunteer activities and will continue to help her community however possible.
