My name is Julie Smelyansky, Yulia Smelyanskaya, Yuliya Smelyansky or any other version you can imagine. I came to America at the age of 7 from the Ukraine. I grew up in a VERY Russian neighborhood in Brooklyn called Kings Highway, and yes it is in fact near Brighton Beach.
