From The Peopling of NYC

I am a Chinese American of what people would call the "1.5 generation", while I was born in China on Dec. 24th 1988, my family moved to the United States when i was 10 years old. Although the issue of the 1.5 generation is not mentioned in depth in our website, one of the major issues that other immigrants like me have to face is the lack of a solid sense of belonging, some of us find ourselves to not fit in with the societies of both the mother country and the United States.
