Shao Chen is currently a student at Baruch College. He loves to read the newspaper online, especially the op-ed sections of various papers including but not limited to the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Asia Times. In his free time, he loves to hang out with his friends and family. Hoping to one day write science fiction stories, Shao is always on the lookout for potential materials and experiences that can bolster his position to create and develop a riveting world. Given that he has read many books before deciding to write himself, Shao has quite a mix of influences coming from authors such as Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Dickens, and C.S. Lewis among others.
