I was born in Queens but when I was 3 years old, my father sent my older sister and I to Punjab, India with our grandmother. He wanted us to learn about out heritage and culture and I spent 6 years there. When I moved back to New York, I completed elementary, middle, and high school. I first attended Information Technology High School and then transferred to Townsend Harris High School. Townsend was extremely difficult, but it was worth it because I made amazing friends and it helped me prepare for college. I chose to attend Macaulay Honors at Baruch because it is a program like no other and Baruch has a renowned business school. I am planning on majoring in accounting but depending on what the future holds, it is bound to change.
