In addition, they may not be able to file them due to expensive court proceedings and lawyers. Abuses outlined earlier are some common cases against employers. Andolan helps facilitate the interaction between the defendant and the legal system with help that includes court accompaniment and lawyer referrals. Lastly, Andolan actively campaigns for the workers’ rights through various avenues. They advocate for identity cards for low wage workers to have identification wherever they go. In addition to foraying into justice for domestic workers, Andolan also fights for retail workers. They analyze salary, hours, and working conditions and educate the public about the poor working conditions in the retail sector.
