From Seminar 2: The Peopling of New York City

from a family photo session, April '07
Lindsey is an instructional technology fellow at City College. She is working on a PhD in English, with a doctoral certificate in American Studies, at the CUNY Grad Center. Her academic specialty is 20th-century American poetry. Her dissertation is about American foreign policy before and during Vietnam, & a bunch of poets you've probably never heard of.

Pacific Ocean! Up close and personal in April '08!

She is originally from Northfield, Minnesota, and earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College.

This spring, she is presenting papers at the Center for Great Plains Studies' "Death, Murder, and Mayhem" Symposium (she likes the name) & at the annual meeting of the American Comparative Literature Association, where she will see the Pacific Ocean for the first time.

When not thinking about poetry or technology, she walks New York City & takes pictures. She is a political junkie, a future West Coast resident, & a big fan of broccoli -- raw or cooked.

If you have problems with the wiki, with your Macbook, or have any questions about this semester's tech projects, you can e-mail her.

Office Hours Spring 2008: Thursdays 1-4 & Fridays 9:30-12:30 in the Honors Center (NAC 4/150), or by appointment.
