Central Park has had many changes since it's inception in the 1860s. There has been many different ideas on how the park should be landscaped, and it has always been subject to much debate. On May 1st, 2008, we had an opportunity to see the process behind deciding the deciding how the park should be changed or up-kept. Below is a community board meeting from Community Board 8 in Manhattan. They were deciding what to do with a drive running along the 5th Avenue.
