So last Sunday we all were asked to go out and take a picture of what we would consider our neighborhood in the future. I had absolutely no idea what I was going to take a picture of and I found the whole assignment to be difficult for me. So after thinking about it I decided that I would want my future to be not only just in a city but also somewhere where there is nature and scenery. So while I was walking in the city (right by our school too) on Sunday, I came across a park with a garden and I thought it was really beautiful and exactly what I wanted to capture. I wouldn't want to live in a city where there is just big buildings and bright lights, instead I would want to live somewhere that still has nature and a calm scenery and in New York you can find just that. My future neighborhood would be somewhere that not only is industrial but also has places of complete nature and natural beauty. The city is where my home is and always will be because of its diverse environment, you can go down Fifth avenue and see so many stores and shops or you can go to Central Park and enjoy nature and the beauty of such an enormous park. In the city, you can get the best of both worlds, you can have buildings, designer stores, and loudness and you can have gardens, parks, and serenity as well, allowing you to have the chance to appreciate nature in its element :). I hope everyone gets my idea through my photograph and is able to understand what i was going for !
