Volunteer With ME

Come Volunteer with me Nov. 30th

On November 30, Broadway from 68th Street to Columbus Circle will shut down for "Winter's Eve at Lincoln Center," New York City's largest neighborhood holiday festival featuring a tree lighting ceremony, live entertainment, food tastings, in-store activities and shopping.

WNET.ORG will be outside of our new studio on the corner of Broadway and 66th Street handing out information on the station and reaching out to the community. Digit, a character from our hit children's program, Cyberchase, will also be in attendance. We need vibrant, outgoing volunteers to distribute materials, manage traffic flow and speak with guests about the station. This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours, support public braodcasting, and have fun!

Please contact Daniel Allen at allend@thirteen.org if you would like to attend. We ask that you arrive at the WNET.ORG studio on the corner of 66th and Broadway at 4:30 PM for a brief on-the-spot orientation. The event will end by 8:30 PM.

We have a limit on volunteers so please let us know if you can join us by Wednesday, November 25th, before the holiday.
