John

From The Peopling of New York City

John was born in New York, and grew up on the Upper West Side near Columbia. As a child he studied violin and piano, and sang in a choir. His teenage years at Stuyvesant High School were devoted to jamming, cinema, math problems, and the exhaustive study of Monty Python humor.

John is currently pursuing a double degree in music and pure mathematics at the City College of New York, and works at BlackRock Financial Management. In his spare time, he is contributing to several projects of various media, including movie productions, vocal ensembles, and a band, as well as obsessively absorbing as much music and cinema as he can.
