B. The Community group was started 12 years ago and she has worked there for 7 years and the goal of the community group has not changed
C. Goal: To help immigrants learn English, free legal assistance, get housing and employment
D. In the English classes
the classes are offered Monday – Friday including day and night classes
In the classes there are Mexican, Columbian, and Bangali but little to no black students (adults and teens)
There are 22 classes per day, each class having 20-22 students
The students in the classes are separated into different levels such as level 1 (beginning to know English) to level 5 (know English to some degree)
CLASSES ARE FREE !!
Multinational teachers – speak English, Spanish, French, Chinese and South Asian
E. The community group is free and it is funded by state and individual sources
F. Susana Torres does not go to Corona, ad her center of Jackson Heights is from 74th to 82nd → all Jackson Heights seems safe to her -→ around 80th St is the affluent area for her
