There are several public parks within Flushing's borders. The largest and most famous of them is Flushing Meadows - Corona Park. The park is the second largest in New York City and it hosted both the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs. Other parks in Flushing include Kissena Park, Flushing Fields, and Bowne Park.

See this page for information on the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival held annually in Flushing Meadows - Corona Park.
