Stores of Flushing

From Welcome to Chinatown NYC

Jump to: navigation, search

The rise of industrial Flushing came in the 1980's as a result of the first influx of Chinese Americans. Flushing is currently wealthier than Manhattan's Chinatown. The neighborhood is a thriving business center and boasts what seems like an endless supply of Chinese and Korean restaurants, as well as grocery stores, Eastern medicine practitioners, and all the commercial chains found across the country.
