When most people are asked what the largest ethnic group is in New York City, they hardly ever think that the answer is Dominicans. This is exactly why, through this website, we hope to enhance your knowledge of this unique group.

This section focuses on the Dominicans and their religious affiliation, and how this affects parts of their lives as well as their values. We focused on finding out what role the church plays within the community and the programs they create to help the young Dominicans. We also focus on second generation Dominican-Americans, with respect to their identity and what they perceive themselves to be. We also explore their ideas about their families, their future, their culture.
