One Neighborhood, Two Population Groups:
Crown Heights is located
in northern Brooklyn in New York City. Its boundaries are Washington Avenue on the west, Ralph Avenue on the east, Atlantic Avenue on the north, and Clarkson Avenue to the south. The Afro-Carribean population is concentrated around Nostrand and Utica Avenues, while the Jewish community is centered around Kingston Avenue.
