The name is Adam Hashemi. I am originally from Plainview, NY, a suburban town located on Long Island. During school, I live right by Baruch College, in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan. Currently, I am majoring in Economics while subsequently taking a pre-med track. It's safe to say that I am a part of two communities: the smaller, mostly Jewish one in Plainview, and the larger, more diverse one in Manhattan. This class has broadened my horizons making me more able to look at New York City and its people from a number of perspectives. This is truly the greatest city in the world, and I look forward to living in and learning more about it in the future.
