Welcome to Avenue M!  This is the entrance/exit to the train station where the journey begins! 

As you walk down Avenue M, you notice that it is a mainly residential area.  There are barely any chain stores in the area.  Most stores are owned by locals.  This is a photo of a local deli corner store carrying Hebrew magazines.

We stopped by a local favorite, Benny's Pizzeria.  

On a sunny, Sunday afternoon, it is not unusual to find a crowd at Benny's.
