Macaulay Honors College Building

The Macaulay building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side is an example of Gothic Revival architecture, where students, alumni and the community are welcome to work, study or hang out. Other CUNY students are welcome as guests. All visitors are asked to present ID.

Planning an event? Rooms and facilities within the Macaulay Building are available to rent for your function: conferences, receptions, seminars, meetings, rehearsal, or photography.

The Macaulay building is accessible from West 67th St. via a ramp to the lower level. Please inform Public Safety at (212) 729-2901 and they will assist you. An elevator stops at every floor of the building and  accessible bathrooms are located on the Cellar (C) Level.

Lecture Hall

A handsome space to rent for special presentations and banquets featuring versatile multimedia options and an adjacent terrace. Portable stage available for use.

Screening Room

Screening Room

An ideal location for private theater screenings and other media presentations. Comfortable seating before an 8′ x 6′ screen.

Performance Space

An atmospheric room with black box theater stage (20′ x 12′) and banquette seating, and small bar/concession counter. Can be combined with the adjacent room for a larger event.

Classrooms

Big windows allow plenty of natural light into these multi-use spaces. Large, erasable whiteboards, moveable tables, and a podium make collaboration easy.

Student Spaces

The Macaulay building is a fantastic place to study, meet other Macaulay students, attend club events, or just hang out. Check out all the great spaces available to students.
