Visitors to this free event can attend film screenings, view finalist films, hear from filmmakers, and much more. Judges will award prizes to top filmmakers on the festival’s final evening. All activities take place at Macaulay Honors College, 35 West 67th Street.
One unique feature of this year’s festival is the addition of a tribute to LGBTQ+ representation in CUNY filmmaking. Special screenings, drag queen story hour, a historical timeline exhibition, and the presentation of the CUNY Film Festival’s LGBTQ+ Image Award pay homage to the art and history of queer filmmaking.
