Randi Hutter Epstein, MD, MPH is on the faculty of Columbia University and a Writer in Residence at Yale Medical School. She is the author of Get Me Out: A History of Childbirth from the Garden of Eden to the Sperm Bank and Aroused: The History of Hormones and How They Control Just About Everything.


Katrina Karkazis, PhD, MPH is The Carol Zicklin Chair in the Honors Academy at Brooklyn College and a Senior Fellow at Yale University.  She is the author of Fixing Sex: Intersex, medical Authority, and Lived Experience and the forthcoming Testosterone: The Unauthorized Biography.


Harriet A. Washington is a lecturer in Bioethics at Columbia University and the author of Medical Apartheid, Infectious Madness, and the forthcoming A Terrible Thing to Waste: Environmental Racism and Its Assault on the American Mind.
