Join us for a career development event, Industry Talks: A Networking Night with Tech Professionals from Accenture, Coop Careers, The Information Lab, Hi Oscar and more! More panelists will be added as we get closer to the date.

Event Details: After a panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to meet each of our speakers face to face virtually in break out rooms for further insight into the tech industry.

Meet Our Panelists:

Nick De La Cruz is an Advanced App Engineering Analyst in the Technology Development Program at Accenture. Previously, he was a Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments. He graduated from MHC at City College with a degree in Computer Science in May 2022. Beyond tech, he is also a musician and enjoys watching Broadway musicals.

 

 


 

 

Emikhe Tisor is a Recruiting Manger at COOP Careers. Previously, she served as the Senior Alumni Support Advisor and External Relations Coordinator at Harlem Village Academies High School. She has als been an Academic Advisor for Graduate students at Mercy College. Emikhe has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Buffalo State and  obtained a Masters degree in Higher Education from there as well. She is passionate about helping other succeed.

 

 


 

 

Collin Smith is a core consultant and recruitment lead with The Data School New York, a career acceleration program of The Information Lab. Previously he has worked in conservation and education as well as public television. He has a degree in Geology and Environmental Studies from Whitman College. Collin also runs the Accessibility Tableau User Group and volunteers doing data visualization for environmental NGOs.

 

 


 

 

Joelle Berbano is a Recruiting Manager for Campus and Early Career at Oscar Health. Previously, she has various experience from high school math education, career coaching and university partnerships through the New York City (NYC) Department of Education, NYC Tech Talent Pipeline and Wix.com. She has bachelors in degree in Mathematics from CUNY Hunter College and a master’s Degree in Education from Fordham University. She is an avid believer and supporter of CUNY Talent and passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion in Tech.

 


 

 

Aryeh Sunshine is a Team Lead at the expert network – Atheneum Partners. Aryeh Graduated from Baruch College in 2020 with an Bachelors Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Zicklin School of Business. A couple of Aryeh’s core values include: hard work , perseverance, and a strong sense of responsibility/accountability.

 

 


 

Emily Chiu is Career Coach Manager at CUNY Tech Prep. She’s worked with students in various stages of their development throughout her career. She has a degree in French Language & Linguistics and History from Binghamton University. She believes language holds power and is passionate about empowering individuals to find their narrative.

 

 


Jesse Chambliss will be representing Revature. They have been in partnership with CUNY since the fall of 2016 focusing on providing pathways to a career in technology regardless of experience level and major. Through this partnership, Revature offers a host of programs to CUNY Students and Alumni including free and paid software engineering training.
