Erin Foo

Erin Foo 2023 Macaulay at Queens College

Erin Foo is a Communication Sciences and Disorders major and a Psychology and Honors in the Social Sciences double minor. Currently, she works as an NSF Intersection of Linguistics Research Fellow where she studies play in Cantonese autistic children. Starting in Fall 2021, Erin served as the Vice President of Campus Affairs where she fostered community for club leaders. She is also the recipient of the Queens College Retirees Association Professor Elizabeth Lowe Scholarship and the Marilynn and Barrett Slavic Scholarship endowment.

Throughout her four years, Erin served as a tutor for people with disabilities, worked as a student life intern for Macaulay student development, served as a CUNY Cultural Corps intern for Art Beyond Sight amplifying voices of artists with disabilities, and worked as a Macaulay peer mentor servicing freshmen during the pandemic and back in person. Over the summer, Erin will be working as a Leadership Specialist teaching leadership skills to kids in grades K-5. In the fall, Erin will be attending the Masters of Speech Pathology program at Queens College
