Macaulay Honors College is committed to preparing students to innovate in the tech industry. This commitment took form in 2013 with the creation of the Macaulay New Media and Digital Content Lab. The lab helps students develop skills in digital studio technologies, production and postproduction, entrepreneurship, marketplace analysis, social media marketing and distribution.
The Macaulay New Media and Digital Content Lab is growing rapidly, adding new programs, workshops and partnerships each semester.
The Macaulay New Media and Digital Content Lab is able to grow and serve more students in part due to funding from Governor Cuomo’s CUNY 2020 initiative.
An incubator for media talent, the Macaulay New Media and Digital Content Lab produces the CUNY Film Festival to showcase innovation within the CUNY community.
