Business Etiquette Dinner

Students who enter the workforce knowing how to navigate business meals don’t waste time worrying about making unnecessary errors at the dining table.  Instead, they position themselves for success.

Attendees will enjoy a delicious 3 course meal and by the end of this fun, fast-paced event, they will:

• Understand all of the key components of a place setting, including whose bread and butter plate belongs to whom;
• Become aware of both the American and continental styles of dining;
• Discuss menu selection, including knowing how many courses to order and which options to avoid ( so called “danger foods”);
• Review appropriate dining conversation; and
• Address every miscellaneous question the participants raise from “Is it ever appropriate to text during a business meal?” to “What happens when you find you have something in your mouth that you know you can’t swallow?”
