Katherine Munet

Kathy Munet is Director of Academic Advising for Macaulay. Kathy is a proud CUNY veteran with roughly 20 wonderful years in Academic Advisement prior to joining Macaulay at both Hostos Community College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. At John Jay, she served as Director of the Academic Advisement Center, overseeing a team of 33 advisors that served approximately 17,000 students per year. She describes herself as an academic advisor by trade, and supporting students in this capacity has been a true highlight and joy of her life. Kathy was a first-generation college student and understands firsthand how important advisement is to the overall academic health and well-being of students. She finds true meaning and passion in devoting her life to paying forward the support she found so valuable in her own journey.
