All Smiles at Commencement

“Now my Macaulay family has even given me a better smile.”

Cynthia Perez Beltethon ’14 (Hunter) spoke at Commencement for the class of 2019, welcoming them into the Macaulay alumni network. She encouraged our graduates to “connect to your alumni community, use the tools that Macaulay has given you and take risks because Macaulay will always be there.” Cynthia shared a heart-warming anecdote about how her friend and fellow Macaulay graduate, Matthew Taylor, also from the class of 2014, just recently graduated from the Columbia School of Dentistry, and treated two of her cavities for free.
