Students will be wearing black academic regalia provided by Herff Jones.

To order your cap and gown, go to the Herff Jones website.
Macaulay will provide your honors stole.

If you will be wearing black academic regalia for your home campus, department, or other ceremonies, you may also wear it at Macaulay’s commencement. Students are not permitted to wear any other color during Macaulay’s ceremony. Macaulay will provide a 2018 gold tassel for students who do not have one, and your honors stole.

Tickets will be available for pickup at your campus Macaulay office the week of May 14. You must register at the registration link listed above. All students who register may request up to 10 tickets. Please only request the number of tickets needed.

Additional tickets may be requested here. Tickets are not guaranteed and subject to availability. You will be notified by email when your tickets are ready. You may pick up your extra tickets from Macaulay Honors College when they become available. 

Guests cannot attend commencement without a ticket (including children).

  • Day of the ceremony (Thursday, June 7):
    • Arrive at United Palace, 4140 Broadway by 1:00 pm for check-in
    • Check-in ends at 2:00pm, please arrive before 2:00pm!
    • Please note that there is no place to store your personal belongings. Please come dressed and you may leave your personal items with your guests.
    • Pick up your honors stole and Class of 2018 tassel
    • Gather for procession at 2:30pm
