The college’s institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, and assessment efforts are guided by the Office of Institutional Strategy and Planning (OISP), the mission of which is to provide leadership to the college in the practice of systematic planning and assessment; foster a culture of shared responsibility for the college’s outcomes; cultivate a community of professionals dedicated to continuous, evidence-based improvement; improve access to data for decision-making; and promote professional development necessary to using data to improve outcomes.
Macaulay staff at all levels engage in shared planning and assessment and are collectively accountable for the college’s outcomes. All units of the college, with OISP support, use planning and assessment practices in line with higher education best practices and assessment results are used to align resources with strategic priorities and to make investments that maximize impact.
