STUDENTS
The Queens College Committee on Honors and Awards has selected Macaulay scholars for several of its fellowships and scholarships. Senior Dong Hwan Kim received the Lucile Lindberg Scholarship, Tzippora Applebaum received the Elena Peters Scholarship, Tavia Kaplan and Avi Koenig have won A. Joseph Geist Law Fellowships, Aaron Lew received the Roarers Memorial Award, Trisha Sherman won the Judge Charles S. Colden Award, Selina Singh won the Helen T. Hendricks Scholarship, and Mahir Sadad won the Paul Klapper Scholarship. Mahir is also the student speaker at the Baccalureate Honors Convocation! Contratulations to all.
City College has recognized several Macaulay students as Colin Powell Fellows: Leonidas Kalpaxis ’24 is the Bloom Energy Fellow, Ishika Nawar ’27 is the Undergraduate Moynihan Fellow, and Tasneem Hasan ’26 is the Climate Change Fellow.

David Horn ’26 (Hunter) has been selected to receive the 2024 Jim O’Connell Sports Communications Scholarship Award from the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association. MORE
The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship is a three year program that provides funded summer internships and unprecedented opportunities to promising undergraduate students. This year’s winners include Audrey Adon (Lehman), Jady Chen (Hunter), Nia Clement (John Jay), Daniel Iqbal (Baruch), Victoria Lu (City), and Ralph-Montas Osias (John Jay).

Gilman International Scholarships.
